Last week I travelled into Kaunertal with Hubert Gogl 'aka the Wipptal alpha Hunter' in search of ice. We climbed a line in the back of the valley and un-expectantly stumbled upon this little beauty as a new variation to the last pitch! 40m plum vertical, 40cm wide ice chandelier, fixed to the rock occasionally! A  touch of tenderness was required ; )
